CHARACTERISTICS
Treating teak with teak oil significantly improves the characteristics of this precious wood. The treatment also serves to ensure its durability. When installed outdoors, teak needs to be treated with a stain-resistant impregnator to protect it from stains and adverse weather conditions.
APPLICATION
The product can be used neat or diluted. For teak, a very compact and oily wood, it's best to use the impregnating oil diluted with a thinner. To treat outdoor decking with teak impregnating oil, two steps are sufficient.
1. Spread the impregnating oil over the surface, wetting it evenly and following the absorption of the wood.
2. Wait 20-30 minutes. After this time, remove excess product by rubbing with a soft cloth or soft brush.
Typically, one application is enough to achieve excellent results. If the teak floor is a very exposed surface, two coats of the product are recommended.
