ELEVIL 3001 D2 Vinyl Glue

ELEVIL 3001 D2 is a ready-to-use, water-based vinyl acetate adhesive designed for the woodworking industry. Available in 0.5, 1, 5, 10, and 25 kg containers, this product boasts tensile shear strength in accordance with EN 205:2003, Class D2. It is ideal for general bonding and is particularly suitable for use in carpentry and the construction of softwood frames.

Typical applications:

• General gluing in carpentry.
• Construction of softwood frames.
• Cladding of non-fireproof plywood and chipboard.
• Bonding materials such as paper, cardboard, and expanded polystyrene.

Technical features:

• Appearance : Viscous fluid, milky white in colour.
• Viscosity : 27,000 ± 3,000 mPas (Brookfield at 20°C, G 6 20 rpm).
• pH : 6-7.

Conditions of employment:

• Room temperature : 18-20°C.
• Wood moisture : 8-12%.
• Open time : 13-15 min (with 150 g/m2), 18-20 min (with 200 g/m2).
• Pressure : 2-5 kg/cm².
• Assembly time : 40-60 min for wooden surfaces, 20-30 sec for paper/absorbent cardboard.

Helpful tips:

• Apply an even amount of adhesive using tools such as automatic or manual spatulas, brushes, etc. Do not use too much product, as this can delay the setting.
• Make sure surfaces are clean and free of dust or loosening substances.
• Maintain a temperature of at least 18°C while working and monitor the humidity of the wood to ensure good drying of the adhesive.
• Don't use unprotected iron containers for glue; prefer materials like stainless steel or plastic.

Storage:

Store the product in its original closed packaging and in a temperate environment between +5°C and +30°C.
