Product information

The RM 10XX Classic Impregnante penetrates deep into the wood fibers, protecting it from atmospheric agents and UV rays. However, the transparent version does not offer UV protection as it does not contain iron oxides.

Instructions for use

For raw wood

1. Sand with 150 grit sandpaper.

2. Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust.

3. Apply 1-2 coats of Impregnante Classico RM 10XX with a brush, spray or rag .

For stained/impregnated wood

1. Make sure the previous finish is a low solid residue impregnator or stain .

2. Clean the surface and sand lightly with sandpaper or Scotch-Brite .

3. Remove dust and apply 1-2 coats of product.

For painted wood

1. Sand with 80-150 grit until the wood is returned to its rough state.

2. Clean the surface thoroughly.

3. Proceed with the impregnation by applying 1-2 coats of RM 10XX.

Overpaintable

The Classic Impregnante RM 10XX can be overpainted with the following finishes:

• Classic RF xx20

• UV Defender Extreme Protection RQ xx70

• Wax RC xx30

⚠ Not compatible with RF 1020 and RF 1120 trims on RM 2010 .

• Drying between coats: 1-2 hours
